The 2A 3rd-ranked Hagerstown softball team methodically pulled away to a 13-1 win at Knightstown on Thursday, May 7, in a Tri-Eastern game.

The game was tied at 1-1 after two innings but was eventually halted after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Mackenzee Johnson collected three hits for Hagerstown, Aaliyah Anderson and Coley Parrish each had two hits, and Addysyn Miller hit a grand slam home run.

Sydney Dobbs limited the Lady Panthers to four hits and struck out seven to earn the win. The lone Knightstown run came from a first inning Mae Hershberger home run.

The win extended the Hagerstown regular-season TEC winning streak to 21 games over three seasons. The Lady Tigers remain tied with Northeastern at the top of the league standings.
