The Hagerstown softball team traveled to Liberty on Thursday, April 10, for their Tri-Eastern Conference opener against Union County. The Lady Tigers jumped out to a 7-0 lead after two innings and never looked back en route to a 16-2 win in a game that was halted after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.  

Elly Cheeseman, Layla Cool and Allison Stinson each collected three hits for the winners. Jerycha Allred drove in four runs. Rylan Young was the winning pitcher.
