Already leading 1-0 after the first inning against visiting Centerville, 2A fourth-ranked Hagerstown scored five runs in the second inning of their April 29 Tri-Eastern Conference game. Hagerstown went on to a 10-0 win in a game that was halted after five innings because of the 10-run mercy rule.

The matchup between the two teams tied for first place with Northeastern in the Tri-Eastern Conference standings was highly anticipated.

Harper Fisher and Mackenzee Johnson both tripled in the second inning and Aaliya Anderson homered. Sydney Dobbs limited the Lady Bulldogs to three hits to earn the win. Aubrey Seifer had a double for Centerville.
