The Hagerstown softball team hosted Union County on Thursday, April 9, in the Tri-Eastern Conference opener for both teams. The Lady Tigers got a complete game performance from pitcher Sydney Dobbs and defeated the Lady Patriots 8-3.
The Lady Tigers took an 8-0 lead after three innings and were never seriously threatened.
Aaliya Anderson, Mackenzee Johnson and Coley Parrish each collected two hits for the winners.
Reagan Hughes and Addison Shepler both had two hits for Union County.
