The Hagerstown cross country teams traveled to Charlottesville on Saturday, Sept. 20, to participate in the annual Gary Powers Memorial Cross Country Invitational hosted by Eastern Hancock.
The Tigers captured five of the top eight spots to easily capture the boys race while the Lady Tigers finished second in the girls race.
Individual finishes for Hagerstown boys: Zack Logston (third), Hayden Pruitt (fourth), Kendrick Herr (sixth), Ben Smith (seventh), Bryce Tinkle (eighth), Brayden Sanders (12th), Jack Rector (14th), Hazard Houghton (15th), Orion Houghton (19th), Graydee DeGuira (25th), Joe Dusek (30th) and Cole Mitchell (40th).
Top three teams: Hagerstown 28, Wisdom Builders 72, Purdue Polytechnic 73
Individual finishes for Hagerstown girls: Abigail Smith (seventh), Sophia Garvin (eighth), Avery Blunk (10th), Maycee Favorite (11th), Makena Lanum (15th), Emsley Holcomb (19th), Claire Bowen (20th), Abbie Gilbert (25th), Savannah Smith (26th) and Breena Walker (34th).
Top three teams: Wisdom Builders 26, Hagerstown 40, Purdue Polytechnic 61
