The Hagerstown Lady Tiger softball team traveled to Parker City on Monday, April 7, for a game with the Lady Bears of Monroe Central. The Tigers broke from a scoreless tie after one inning to score 14 unanswered runs in the top of the second inning and break the game open. The Tigers added five runs in the third inning and three more in the top half of the fifth to push their lead to 22-0. The game was halted after the fifth inning because of the 10-run mercy rule.

Rylan Young was overpowering from the circle. Young struck out 14 batters and only surrendered one base hit. The Tigers collected 19 hits as a team. Allison Stinson led the hit parade with three hits that included a solo home run and a grand slam home run to drive in six runs. Aaliya Anderson also collected three hits. Jerycha Allred, Elly Cheeseman, Layla Cool, Emma Jarrett and Mackenzee Johnson each had two hits. Jaymie Brannon collected the only Bear base hit.
