The Richmond football team hosted longtime rival Muncie Central on Friday, Sept. 25, in a North Central Conference game at Lyboult Field.
The Bearcats passed for 198 yards and rushed for 110 yards in a 37-6 win. Thomas Stargell had another big game for the Red Devils. Stargell connected on 12-24 pass attempts for 145 yards and rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown in 24 carries.
Ty’ziyah Stubbs caught seven passes for 122 yards and had three kickoff returns totaling 81 yards. He also anchored the Richmond defense with a team high of nine tackles, including a sack.
