If you like offense, and you were at Lyboult Field Friday, Sept. 20, you saw plenty of it. 

The Richmond Red Devils exploded for a season high of 44 points in their home North Central Conference game against the Marion Giants but still fell short. The two teams combined for nearly 1,000 total yards of offense with the Red Devils piling up 446 yards and the Giants accumulating 499 yards. 

No individual statistics were available for Richmond. 

The Red Devils will go on the road to Lafayette on Friday, Sept. 27, for another North Central Conference game with the unbeaten Jefferson High School Bronchos, ranked fifth in the 5A state poll.
