The six Wayne County high schools met at Indiana University East on Saturday, Sept. 6, for the annual Wayne County cross country meet.
Richmond junior Cale Newton broke the high school course record with a time of 16:13.2 to help lift the Red Devils to the boys title. Northeastern won the girls race, with Knight freshman Hayden Neagle winning the event in a time of 19:42.1.
