Fourteen nonprofit organizations received more than $80,000 in funding through the Community Foundation of Randolph County’s spring grant cycle. The May 7 award ceremony was held at the Vision Corner Learning Center in Union City.

Approved by the Foundation’s Board of Directors, the following organizations received support: Art Association of Randolph County, City of Winchester, Farmland Friends Church, Fountain Park Cemetery Association, Gracie’s Gift, Open Arms House of Worship, Randolph County 4-H Club, Randolph County Area Community Theatre, Randolph County YMCA, Red-tail Land Conservancy, Start with Art Ltd., State Line Heritage Days, Winchester Area Churches and Community Food Pantry, and Young Women’s Christian Association.

“We are proud to be the stewards of community resources that can continue to make Randolph County a better place to live, work and play,” said Executive Director Lisa Jennings in a news release. “These grants will inspire good and are milestones for improving our community.”

Funds were sourced from various entities. All donations but two will be matched $2 for each $1 donated via the current GIFT IX initiative by Lilly Endowment Inc. through June 30, 2028, or until matching funds are exhausted.

The fall grant cycle’s applications open Wednesday, Sept. 30. To learn more, visit randolphcountyfoundation.org.
