Those interested in conservation and/or pollinator protection can learn more at an upcoming free workshop.

Wayne County Soil & Water District and Purdue Extension-Wayne County are teaming to offer the Conservation Focus Workshop and Private Applicator Recertification Program (PARP) training from 9 a.m.-noon Thursday, March 21.

The program takes place in Wayne County Fairgrounds’ First Bank Kuhlman Center, 861 Salisbury Road N., Richmond.

Anyone interested in topics such as worker protection standards, Bee Aware Pollinator Protection Program, wellhead protection and agency updates is invited to attend. Certified Crop Advisor credits are available.

A catered meal by the Fresh Side will be provided by area agribusiness sponsors. PARP fees will be covered by Indiana Corn Marketing Council and Indiana Soybean Alliance.
