First United Methodist, Cambridge City
First United Methodist Church of Cambridge City will be closed for at least the next three Sundays (March 22, March 29 and April 5). However, Pastor Max Milton will record his sermon to be played on Cambridge City First United Methodist Church Facebook page and YouTube channel no later than Sunday mornings.
Williamsburg Lions Club is cancelling its monthly breakfast that was to take place on Saturday, March 21.

Community Food Pantry, Richmond
Board members decided to suspend operations for the next two weeks, March 16 to March 27th. We are tentatively scheduled to reopen on Monday, March 30th. We are currently assessing how to handle operations while keeping clients and volunteers safe and healthy.
Whitewater Valley Pro Bono’s Paint for Justice event
Due to COVID-19 recommended precautions, we are deferring and will in the future reschedule our “Paint for Justice” event currently scheduled for March 28, 2020. Any ticket purchases/sponsorships will carry forward to the new date when it is set. Thank you for your understanding. Meanwhile, our pro bono legal services to the Wayne County community continue and we anticipate local legal needs will increase during these challenging times. The March 14 concert by Derik Nelson and Family is being rescheduled for another date because of Gov. Eric Holcomb’s mandate announced Thursday afternoon to eliminate non-essential gatherings of 250 or more people. Ticketholders should keep their tickets for the future performance.
Richmond Symphony Orchestra
The March 14 concert at Seton Catholic High School has been canceled. RSO will make adjustments to any existing tickets, and tickets can be exchanged for a voucher to be used in the 2020-2021 season. For more information, call (765) 966-5181.

The March 17 fundraiser at The Leland Legacy has been postponed.
Earlham College has moved to online classes for the remainder of the semester.The Athletics and Wellness Center is closed to the community beginning Monday, March 16. Tentatively re-opening Monday, May 3. All swim lessons will be rescheduled upon re-opening. There will be no group fitness classes during this time.

The Preview Reception for the You Are There 1927 GENNETT STUDIO exhibit on Thursday, March 12, has been canceled.
Indiana Historical Society will postpone all on-site special events and programs, including group tours, until the end of April. Ivy Tech Community College
As we continue to follow and learn more about the progression of COVID-19, Ivy Tech has decided to take additional steps to lessen our on-campus population and better accommodate social distancing by delaying the start of all courses until March 23. The College then plans to deliver courses virtually or through other alternate delivery through April 5.
Students should check IvyLearn leading up to March 23 for instructions on their courses. The College will make a decision on March 30 about the need for continued virtual and alternate delivery of classes.

Wayne County Emergency Management
We unfortunately are having to cancel the Severe Weather Awareness Course scheduled for next Thursday, March 19th that was previously advertised in the press release. Due to travel restrictions placed on federal employees due to the COVID-19 concerns, the National Weather Service is not allowing their employees to conduct the trainings and outreach this Spring.
Wayne County Soil & Water Conservation District
The Conservation Focus Workshop and PARP training on March 19 has been cancelled due to concerns of the COVID-19 virus and the restrictions and recommendations from Purdue and the CDC. As the speakers scheduled for the workshop are affiliated with Purdue, we will abide by their guidance. We thank you for your understanding and will re-schedule the event for the fall 2020.
