Terri Redmond, age 56, of Centerville, Indiana, died Friday, December 31, 2021, at Reid Health after a brief illness.
Born April 22, 1965, in Richmond, Indiana, to Tom and Betty Argo Tash, Terri was a life-long resident of Centerville. She graduated from Centerville High School in 1983 and earned a degree in Early Childhood Education from Ivy Tech Community College. Terri was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Centerville, where she owned/operated ABC Preschool Childcare Ministry. Terri loved her ABC family. She previously worked at Noah’s Ark Day Care Center, Green Acres, and the YMCA. Terri enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending time on her front porch. She was a big-hearted person, who especially loved children. Terri also dearly loved her Grandpa and Granny Argo, including her delicious recipes.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Richard W. Redmond; son, Daniel (April) Redmond and adopted children, Lexi Redmond and Zeth Redmond, all of Centerville; grandson, Owen Redmond; parents, Tom and Betty Tash of Richmond; brother, Tommy Tash of Richmond; mother-in-law, Janice Redmond of Richmond; brothers-in-law, Randy (Kelly) Redmond of Hagerstown, Indiana, and Roger (Janet) Redmond and Rob Redmond, both of Richmond; aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kearimi Ann Redmond; father-in-law, Robert Redmond Sr.; sister-in-law, Sheila Redmond; and paternal and maternal grandparents.
Visitation for Terri Redmond will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Centerville, 109 Mattie Harris Road, Centerville. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 8, 2022, at First Baptist Church of Centerville with Rev. James L. Girdley officiating. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Mills Funeral Home, 405 East Main Street, Centerville.
