Stanley LeRoy Johnson, age 74, passed away at Reid Health on June 30, 2022. He was born June 7, 1948, to Earl and Adele Johnson, in Richmond, Indiana.
Stanley was a resident of Richmond; and also known to many as Stanley or Stoney. He was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Stanley attended Southern Ohio Skilled Center and obtained a degree in Machining. He had worked at Mid-Way Manufacturing and at Hoffco where he was a tool and die machinist operator. Stanley loved to sing and perform country music. He idolized Elvis.
He is survived by his sister: Donna J. Shinn; children: David Lady, Sr., Tim Mohler, Stanley Mohler and Ona Fudge.
He is preceded in death by his parents: two brothers: Charles Johnson and Robert Johnson; and three sisters: Delores Houston, Ellen Louise Johnson and Loretta Johnson.
Funeral service will be held at Community Family Funeral Home on Thursday, July 7, 2022, at 12 Noon, with Chaplain Rick Alvey officiating. Family and friends may visit Thursday at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow. Community Family Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
