Phyllis E. Barrett, 74, of Milton, passed away on Wednesday February 2, 2022 at Reid Hospital.
She was born on March 12, 1947 in French Lick, IN to Marvin and Norma Jean (Dillard) Cook and moved here as a child and lived most of her life in this area. Phyllis graduated from Lincoln High School. She was extremely creative and loved woodworking, making wreaths and candle arrangements and then going to craft shows. Phyllis was a dedicated and loving wife, mom, grandma, great-grandma, sister and aunt.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, George S. Barrett; children, Tami Jump, Stacy (Brad) Bonwell, Erika Wilson, Scott Barrett and Joe (Sandy) Barrett; eleven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; siblings, Marti (Tom) Young, Adam (Cindy) Cook, Doug Cook and Frank Cook; nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11am until the start of the funeral service at 1 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Waskom Capitol Hill Chapel in Cambridge City. Interment will follow at Westside Cemetery in Milton, Indiana.
