Linda E. Goldberg-Heavilin, age 73, of Richmond, Indiana, died Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at Reid Health.

Born June 10, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert M. and Margaret E. Gasser Shull, Linda lived in this area most of her life, coming from Ft. Wayne, Indiana, in 1958. She graduated from Richmond High School in 1967, Indiana University in 1983, and Ball State University in 1993. Linda worked at Purina Mills for over 35 years as a test diet manager before retiring. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Richmond. Linda loved her family dearly, doted on her grandchildren, and enjoyed taking trips with her family.

Survivors include her husband of 37 years, Robert E. Heavilin, to whom she was married on August 15, 1985; son, David (Lori) Goldberg of Liberty Township, Ohio; step-daughter, Susan (Brian) White of Delaware, Ohio; step-son, Douglas (Amy) Heavilin of Franklin, Indiana; five grandchildren, Hannah Goldberg and Jacob Goldberg of Liberty Township, Ohio, Elizabeth White, Rachel White, and Jason White, all of Delaware, Ohio; sister, Catherine Shoemaker of Rochester, New York; brother, Michael Shull of Indianapolis, Indiana; nieces; nephews; and special friends, Kathy Braun, Traci Burns-Beirise, and Suzanna Marty among many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial visitation for Linda E. Goldberg-Heavilin will be from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 800 North A Street, Richmond, IN 47374, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00 p.m. officiated by The Reverend Dr. Barbara Anne Fisher.
