Janet Kay (Neal) Duvall, 69, of New Castle, passed away Monday, May 9, 2022 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie. She was born June 8, 1952 in New Castle, a daughter of the late Henry and Ethel (Tuggle) Neal.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Robert E. Duvall of New Castle; a son, Gordon Guffey of New Castle; step children, Amy (Scott) Smith of New Castle, Robert (Sandy) Duvall of Kokomo, granddaughters, Lillian Guffey of New Castle and Willow Guffey of Muncie; step granddaughters, Chloe (Grayson) of South Carolina, Emily (Luke) Cross of New Castle; a step grandson, Tyler Smith of New Castle; two brothers, Jack Neal of Sulphur Springs and Jerry Henry Neal of KY; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Juanita Duncan and Ruth Davis; sisters-in-law, Charlotte Neal, Doris Neal, and Kathy Neal; brother-in-law, Clyde Chriswell; nieces, Margie Chriswell and Diane Duncan; nephew, Terry Duncan, and a great nephew, Corey Chriswell.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, May 16, 2022 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hills Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm. until time of service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be given to the Little Red Door, 2311 West Jackson Street, Muncie, IN 47303.
