Eric Christopher Sheets, age 50, of Richmond, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on November 8, 2021, in Austin, Texas. Born on September 12, 1971, in Richmond, IN. He was raised there by his parents, Mervin Sheets and Linda Lockwood.
He attended elementary school in Richmond and transferred to Tri-Village in New Madison, OH. He was a loving, caring person that would do anything for his family and friends. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything to do with being outdoors. He had a knack for buying and selling vehicles, but most of all he missed out on being a good father to his son that he loved very much and a grandson he never got to meet.
Survivors include, his son Dalton Sheets (Jessie) of Texas; Brothers, Steven (Melissa) Sheets, Michael Sheets who passed away on December 21, 2021, both from Fountain City; Sisters, Tonya (Bill) Rogers, of Connersville, Melissa (Keith) Gulley of Florida; Grandsons, Noah and Milo of Texas; 6 nieces, 5 nephews, and many great nieces and nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. Eric was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and a niece.
Affordable Burial & Cremation Service in Austin, Texas was in charge of the cremation. Memorial Service will be held on September 10, 2022 at Glen Miller Park, Shelter #2 (down below the Mac Shack), Richmond, IN at 4pm. Following the Memorial Service, we will be having a Celebration of Life for Eric since his Birthday would have been on September 12th.
