Elizabeth Tressler, 64 of Connersville passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was born on December 1, 1957 in Connersville to James Powell and Ruby Gunnell Powell.
Liz worked at Ponderosa in the surrounding area for over 25 years as a general manager. She generally loved working and was known for her dedication to Ponderosa.
When she wasn’t working you could find her out shopping or spending time with her friends and family. Liz had a heart of gold, she was always willing to take that extra step to help someone and would do it with a smile on her face.
Liz is survived by her daughter Michelle (Ryan) Tressler-Bischoff; her husband, Ed Tressler; sisters, Pam (Larry) Carey, Judy (Dennis) Roberts, Vickie (Philip) Rude and Anita (Steve) Holloway; brothers, James (Linda) Powell and Jeff Powell; and grandsons, Hunter and Eli Bischoff; and several nieces and nephews.
Liz was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Sharon Henderson; and a grandson, Noah Bischoff.
Visitation for Liz will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm at Urban Winkler Funeral Home, 513 W. 8th St. Connersville, Indiana 47331. The funeral service will begin on Thursday at 1:00 pm with Pastor Richie Ware of Higher Praise Worship Center officiating at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Dale Cemetery.
