Dwight Edward Williams was born on September 15, 1947, the son of Milo and Anna Lee Lane Williams went home to be with the Lord our Savior on December 28, 2021 at Reid Hospital in Richmond, Indiana.
Dwight better known as “Bully” to his close friends and family. He was the youngest of 11 children. He was a lifelong resident of Richmond and graduated from Richmond High School, Ivy Tech for training in mechanics. He worked at CRST Trucking until his health failed. Dwight enjoyed his family gatherings, loved listening to music, antique cars and enjoyed drag races. At a young age he attended and was baptized at Second Missionary Baptist Church.
He leaves to cherish his memory his loving and devoted wife of 35 years Brenda; 1 brother Albert Williams (Gae Ann) of Huntsville, Alabama; 3 daughters Robin Turner (Bruce), Chandra Whitfield of Columbus, Indiana and Rochanne Gibson of California; 5 sons Anthony Damon Williams of Columbus, Indiana, Adrian and Marlin Wichard and Andre Lynch all of Richmond, Indiana; 11 grandsons John Ryan, Demarko, DeAndre, Donavon, Isiah, Deshaun, Quince, Masia, Terrell, Terrius and Justin; 8 granddaughters Rosalind, Rachel, DreShawna, Eleigha, Kaylee, Brooklyn, Tiaja and Alexia; 3 great grandchildren Princeton, Zamir and Sariyah; 3 brothers-n-law George Lynch (Kay), Michael Lynch (Cindy) and Ozzie Smith all of Richmond; special and faithful sister-in-law LaVera Patterson of Richmond, Indiana. He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter Karen Wilson; son Justin Davis; sister Anna Bridgforth, Catherine Green, Carol Sue Arjurn, Freda Lorraine Williams; brothers Milo Jr., Herman, Van Earl, Carl Allen, Eugene, Kenneth; nephew Brian D. Williams.
