Clyde D. Legear, 85 of Richmond, died June 9, 2022, at Reid Health. He was born October 5, 1936, in Sand Gap, Kentucky to Thomas P. and Ethel P. Hardin Legear, and lived here most of his life. He formerly worked at Richmond Power and Light and retired from Verizon working as a lineman. Clyde was a member of the Richmond Bass Club and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved his family.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years Judy, four children Tom (Jennifer Lady) Legear, Tammy (Mike) Henry, and Terry (Brad) Smarrelli all of Richmond, and Tonya (Joe) Dale of Vincennes, and seven grandchildren Angela, Christina, Joe, Samantha, Cory, Brad, and Austin, eight great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and six brother and sisters.
