Carol Ann Tague, 84, Cambridge City, passed away early Monday morning, March 14th, 2022, at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana. Born to Alphonsos and Viola (Firsich) Spaulding on September 2nd, 1937, Carol grew up in the Connersville area and graduated from Connersville High School, then later in life moved to Cambridge City where she has resided since 1975. She married the love of her life, the late Wayne E. Tague, on December 26th, 1959, at St. Gabriel’s Church in Connersville. Carol was a homemaker, she spent her days raising four boys, which was a full-time job, and the loved chaos.
Carol is survived by her four sons, Tony (Kathy) Tague of Connersville, Dan (Christina) Tague of Thomasville, North Carolina, Jeff (Susan) Tague of Stephenson, Virginia, and Ken (MaryAnne) Tague of Fishers; eleven grandchildren, Amber Borden, April Tague, Josh Hudelson, Joey Frasur, Tyler Tague, Alexa Tague, Heather Bradley, Lauren Koble, Ross Tague, Chris Tague, and Jon Tague; nine great grandchildren; one brother, Marvin Spaulding; and one sister, Janie Linderman.
Carol is preceded in death by her parents, her husband on November 10th, 2009, and two siblings, Gary, and Robert Spaulding.
Visitation will be held at 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 17th, 2022, with funeral services at 11 a.m. on Friday, March 18th, 2022, at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin. Father John Hall will officiate. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Cambridge City, Indiana.
