Rick Little, age 63, of Spiceland, IN passed away on Wednesday, October 13th in the comfort of his home. A native of Hagerstown, IN, Rick was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and would later attend taxidermy trade school.
A family-man to his core, Rick was a loving husband, outspokenly proud father, and fierce neighbor and friend. An avid outdoorsman, Rick enjoyed fishing, hunting, bird watching, tending to his yard, and all things nature.
Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa; children: Richel Stumpf, Tyler Little (Abigail), and Tanner Little (Anna); grandchildren: Michael Stumpf, Mason Stumpf, Hannah Stumpf, Lockridge Little, and was excitedly awaiting the arrival of the family’s latest addition — the first-born son of Tyler and Abigail Little; great-grandchildren: Miles Stumpf and Asher Stumpf; siblings: Melody Meyer (Steve), Tim Little (Cheryl), Lisa Williams; and many more family members and friends.
A memorial service in celebration of Rick’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 16th at Spiceland Friends Church (401 W Main St, Spiceland, IN 47385). Friends and family may gather from 11:00 a.m. until time of services at the church. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle.
