Ralph L. Perkins Jr., 83 of Richmond died September 30, 2021, at Reid health after a lengthy illness. he was born October 14, 1937, in Alcoa, Tennessee to Ralph and Jeannette McKelvey Perkins Sr. and lived in Richmond most of his life. He worked as a welder at Wallace Metal Products and Cambridge City Casket Company. He was a member of Oak Park Pentecostals.
Survivors include two children Shelly (Scott) Clegg of South Carolina, and Randy Perkins of Richmond, one step-daughter Beth Glaub of Richmond, nine grandchildren Ryan (Matt) Watkins, Samantha (Ben) White, Justin (Maria) Thurston, Dakota Perkins, Alex Perkins, Bryce Vanmeter, Jarod Jasper, Joey (Jessica) Mosley, Zack Perkins, and Brent Plankenhorn, fifteen great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews, special friends Ron and Renee Oakley and Patricia Hunter. Ralph is preceded in death by two sons Brett and Brian Perkins and his parents.
