Norma Faye Lawhorn, age 75, passed away on August 17, 2021, at Golden Living Center-Golden Rule Nursing Home. She was born April 14, 1946, to Rufus and Winona Mullins in Clintwood, Virginia.
Norma was a resident of Wayne County and had been employed at Sherock Cabinets for 28 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church. Norma was a homemaker and in her later years she was a caregiver to her mother, Winona.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her son: Chad Umbstead of North Vernon, IN; one brother: Carter LeeRoy Mullins (Cheryl) of Richmond, IN; nieces: Janet Louise Mullins of Richmond, IN, Krista Nicholson of Centerville, IN and Natalie Nicholson of Montana; nephew: Steve Nicholson (Rachel); and a host of other relatives and friends including a longtime friend, Millie Mikesell of Richmond, IN. She will also be missed by her special pet, Bubby.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Charles Robert Mullins.
