Michael Eugene Reynolds, 72, passed away on Saturday, July 17, 2021, after a 3 year battle of stage 4 lung cancer. Michael was born on April 7, 1949, to Walter G and Margaret (Harris) Reynolds in Winchester Indiana, and was a lifelong Fountain City resident and attended Hopewell Methodist Church. He was a graduate of Fountain City High School in 1967.
On March 31, 1973, he married Sandra Lee Julien. He was the founder of Reynolds Plumbing (1983) along with his wife Sandy. He loved to work on his 67′ Pontiac LeMans, coach his girls in softball, farm, run a successful business, loved to teach his grandkids life skills, and boating at Dale Hollow Lake. Above all, he absolutely adored his family and sitting in his “barn”.
In addition to his wife, Sandy, Michael is survived by his daughters Shawna (Doug) Mikesell, Hayley (Steve) Casebolt, and Kristin Lumpkin of Richmond, Indiana; Grandchildren Kaleb, Cole, Keaton, and Ava Mikesell, Harper and Cora Casebolt, and Carter, Payton, and Jacob Lumpkin. Special friends Barry (Debbie) Whalen; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Reynolds. His sweet fur babies, Mika and Ike
A celebration of life will be held on August 14, 2021, at 4 pm at the “barn”- Michael’s style
