Mabel “Peggy” Hall Reece 84 of Richmond died December 25, 2020, at Reid Health after a short illness. She was born December 22, 1936, in Boonesboro, Kentucky, and lived here since 1965. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, reading, and sewing. She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.

Peggy is survived by her three daughters Teresa Ann (Dale) Ward of McDonough, Georgia, Sherry Lynn Robertson of Richmond, and Billie Jean (Paul) Knipp of Lynn, her daughter-in-law Grace Reece, 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, one brother Billy (Anita) Hall, one sister Lois Cornish. two sisters-in-law Faye Reece, and Connie Hall, one brother-in-law Garner (Ernestine) Reece, nieces and nephews, and her special friend Carol Turner.

Her husband Norman died on November 26, 2004. She is also preceded in death by her mother and stepfather Ethel and Oda Hall, one son Norman E. Reece, one daughter Janet Leigh Reece, her son-in-law Don Robertson, one granddaughter Makiesha Knipp, one great-grandson Lane, two sisters Judy Isaacs and Betty Joslin, one brother Kenneth Hall.

Private funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Nichols officiating, and live-streamed on Facebook and recorded to the funeral home website. Burial will be in Goshen Cemetery. With restrictions (wear a mask and no more than 25 people are allowed in the funeral home at any one time), friends may call from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2020.
