WILLIAMSBURG, Ind. – Kent Alan Baxter, age 62, of Williamsburg, Indiana, died Thursday, December 16, 2021, at Reid Health.
Born February 4, 1959, in Marion County, Indiana, to Merrill William and Berneil Heller Baxter, Kent lived in Wayne County, Indiana, most of his life. He worked as a branch manager at U.S. Bank. Kent attended Park Chapel Christian Church in Greenfield, Indiana.
Survivors include his wife of 41 years, Dori J. Freese Baxter; children, Eli (Sara) Baxter of Richmond, Indiana, Mary (Jordan) Randall of Connersville, Indiana, Alex (Angie) Baxter of Greenfield, and Cole Baxter of Williamsburg; eight grandchildren; siblings, Connie Jo (Greg Moschetti) Baxter, Martha Jane (Marshall) Akers, and Jeffrey L. (Melissa) Baxter; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Luke, and parents.
A memorial gathering for Kent Alan Baxter will be held from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Monday, December 20, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
