Born October 12, 1943, in Richmond, Indiana, to Paul H. and Julia Margaret Trimble Mendenhall, John was a life-long resident of this community. He graduated from Richmond High School. John proudly served in the United States Air Force and was very patriotic. Above all, John loved his family.
