She was born in Ten Mile, TN on February 22, 1943 to James and Grace (Lemons) Harrison and lived most of her life in Wayne and Randolph counties.
Her Christian faith was very important to her and it remained steadfast throughout her life. She enjoyed raising her children and always prayed for their safety and well being. She took great pride in being a homemaker. Some of her many talents included vegetable gardening and canning, tending flowers and painting. Jessie was a retired employee of Kabert Industries in Lynn.
Survivors include 4 children, Tim (Sandy) Brogdon of Troy, OH, Cindy (Terry) Warren of Ft. Pierce, FL, Joe Brogdon of Farmland and Victoria Rice of Modoc; 12 grandchildren, Dustin Crutcher, Corey Crutcher, Cianna Warren, Shane Warren, Jessika Richter, Mindy Reece, Julie Brogdon, Ashley Allen, Elizabeth Mitchem, Samuel Wilson, Dakota Rice and Summer Loudy; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a sister, Sue Callahan (Rick) of Lynn; many nieces and nephews and her longtime friend and companion, Harold Raver.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Valerie Wilson, Grandsons Daniel Wilson, and Kenneth Wilson and 6 siblings: Bill Harrison, Robert Harrison, Mary Day, Ruby Kemplen, J.D. Harrison and Lucy Harrison.
Visitation will be 12 PM to 2 PM on Monday, May 10, at Culberson Funeral Home, Hagerstown. Services will follow at 2 PM. Pastor Mort Radford will officiate. Burial will be in Economy Cemetery.
