Jessica Jean (Jenkins) Mead, age 39, resident of New Castle, passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born May 12, 1981 in Austell, Georgia, a daughter of Jerry and Robin (Babcock) Jenkins.
Jessica was an energetic and expressive woman. She enjoyed crafting, four wheeling, and was an avid gardener and fiercely loved her family. She was deeply loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Left to cherish her loving memory include her husband, Richard Mead; her children, Taylor Meade, Chase, Shelby, Hannah Rickey, Jazmine Jenkins and Tyler Mead; her grandchildren; her parents; three siblings, Jeffery (Brittany) Jenkins, Jenni (Kris) Gordon, and Jaci (Jacob) Sheridan; eight nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Dozer and Daisy.
At the family request, services will be private. However, in lieu of flowers, the family has asked that anyone who wishes, to please make a donation in her name to the American Cancer Society, 5635 W 96th St., Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46278.
