Jann G. Marson, Sr. of Nampa, Idaho, born Nov. 23, 1942 in New Castle, Indiana went home to his Lord Jesus on Saturday Dec. 12, 2020.  He leaves behind his wife Suzette, daughter Teri Duff (Brian), son Wayne Marson (Theresa), step children Marissa O’Brien (Jason), Paris Marron (Paul) and Austin Brown, Step Sister Jane Foist Doddridge (John), Step Brothers Gene Foist (Roz) and Randall Brown (Margie) as well as 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Jann was preceded in death by his wife of 44 years Lorraine, his son Jann Marson Jr., his mother Genevieve Riser Brown and father Raymond Marson.  Jann attended grade school in Dublin  and Lincoln High School  before graduating from Broad Ripple High School in Indianapolis.  Following graduation Jann enlisted in the US Air Force where he was stationed at Mt. Home Air Force Base in Idaho as a missile technician. The years following he was a truck driver until 1978 when he went to work at Consolidated Freightways Data Center retiring as an auditor in 2000. Jann enjoyed the great outdoors of Idaho and enjoyed fishing and camping besides woodworking.  The past 9 years he served as an online missionary with Global Media Outreach. He also ministered to those at a local Alzheimers Facility the past 11 years.  We will miss his positive outlook, love and kindness that extended even to his pets and the wild birds and squirrels he loved to feed.  A memorial service is pending at this time.
