Ida Lee “Jerri” Frazier, age 95, of Richmond, Indiana, died Friday, October 8, 2021, at Heritage House of Richmond.
Jerri was born on December 8, 1925, in Hazel Patch, Kentucky, to Victor C. and Mary M. Mink Owens. She worked as a custodian at Dennis Junior High School and previously worked at Kenart Photo Lab. Jerri attended First Baptist Church in Richmond.
Survivors include her son, Robert K. Barnhart of Albuquerque, New Mexico; grandson, Barney Barnhart of Fountain City, Indiana; sister, Gladys Eliason of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harrison Leon Frazier, who died July 29, 1977; parents; sisters, Elizabeth Jones, Lucille Burdette, and Kathleen Thornburg; and brothers, James, Jessie, and Raymond Owens.
Visitation for Ida Lee “Jerri” Frazier will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 15, 2021, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Preacher Doug Nolen officiating. Entombment will be in the Earlham Memorial Mausoleum.
