Howard Stanley Hudelson, 75, of New Castle passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021 at I.U. Health Ball Memorial in Muncie. He was born June 14, 1946 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Charles Milton and Verna Opal (Bunch) Hudelson.

Stan was a 1964 graduate of Spiceland High School. He worked as a tool maker at Chrysler Corporation for 34 years and 16 years at Walt Disney World. He was co-owner of Hudelson Tax Services. Stan loved playing shuffleboard at Baker Park. For several years, he was the National Champion. He had a passion for playing cards and playing in his game room. Stan volunteered at the Heritage Veterans Museum in St. Cloud, Florida and was a member of New Castle Elks #484.

Survivors include his wife, Irene Hudelson, whom he married August 11, 1979; son, Tony (Barbara) Russell of Spiceland and Kevin Hillis of New Palestine; daughters, Monica (Andy) Hollman of Ft. Wayne and Tonya (Scott) Hillis of Florida; grandchildren, Justin Russell, Krista Newkirk, Adam (Jill) Hollman, Ann Hollman, Brakayla Hillis and Brice; great grandchildren, Carson, Kaden, Camden and Khloe; brothers, Carl Hudelson of Goshen; several nieces & nephews; and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Marge Jones; and a brother, Don Hudelson.

Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m., Saturday, November 27, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle. Inurnment will take place at a later date at Circle Grove Cemetery.
