Geneva O. Johnson, 93, of Lynn, IN passed away early Friday, November 5, 2021 at Reid Health and Hospital of Richmond, IN. She was born October 22, 1928 in Winchester, IN, the daughter of Malhon and Pauline (Cook) Dalzell. She was a 1947 graduate of Spartanburg High School of Spartanburg, IN.

Geneva retired in 1991 after more than 25 years with Belden Wire & Cable of Richmond, IN. She was a member of the 25 year club at Beldon. She enjoyed spending her leisure time motorcycle riding with her husband, gardening, canning, playing cards and listening to music.

She leaves to cherish her memory three sons, George Johnson (Carolyn) of Monroe Michigan, Bruce Johnson (Connie) of St. Paul, Indiana and James Parker Johnson II of Cedar Rapids, IA; two daughters, Rebecca Retz (Gerald) of Lynn, IN and Jennifer Johnson (Kelly) of Richmond, IN; ten grandchildren; and 28 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; a loving husband, James Parker; daughter, Theresa Pipenger; and an infant daughter, Janice.

A service to celebrate Geneva’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at Wilson Shook Funeral Home, Thomas Memorial Chapel of Lynn, IN. Family and friends may gather to share and remember from 11:00 a.m. to service time on Wednesday, at the funeral home.
