Gail June Hutson, age 65, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away Friday, May 14, 2021 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana following a brief illness. She was born February 6, 1956 in New Castle a daughter of the late Bruce and Kathleen Ziglar Daniel.
Gail worked the past 30 years as a bartender at the Eagles Lodge #933 in New Castle where she was the current Madam President for the Women’s Auxiliary. Gail married the love of her life, Steve Hutson on August 17, 1996. She enjoyed traveling the United States and sharing time with her children, grandchildren, and special friends, Jackie, Judy, Diana and a host of others. Gail never knew a stranger and always had a smile on her face.
Left to cherish her loving memory include: four children, Ronnie (wife, Stacey) Riggins of New Castle, Rick (wife, Melissa) Walters of Greensburg, Indiana, Chellie (husband, Jay) Coleman and Stevie Hutson, both of New Castle; 10 grandchildren, Allyson (husband, Chad) Meadows of Muncie, Indiana, Rylee and Hunter Riggins, both of New Castle, Erica (Jonathon) Walters of Zionesville, Rickey Walters of Rushville, Indiana; Krista and Quinton McGaughey; Schyler and Madison Hutson, both of New Castle; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hope (Mark) Lowe and Kay (Ronnie) Winchester; a brother, Albert (Susie) Poe; a uncle, Gene (Brenda) Ziglar; also several nieces, nephews and cousins survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Steve Hutson; two brothers, Michael & Wayne Daniel; a granddaughter, Emily Walters; a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Hutson.
Funeral services will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Macer-Hall-Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, 2011 East Broad Street with Brenda Grider and Judy Swain of the Eagles Women’s Auxiliary officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m., until service time, Thursday, at the funeral home.
