Frankie Helton, age 76 of New Paris, Ohio passed away on Friday, December 24, 2021. Born on August 2, 1945 in Mt. Victory, Pulaski County, Kentucky, son of the late, Elmer & Mildred Irene (Shell) Helton.
Frankie retired after many years as a Warehouse Manager for Vectren in Richmond, Indiana. He loved the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and trapping. Frankie was a great storyteller and didn’t know a stranger and if you knew him, he loved ya.
Preceded by his wife of 40 years, Carlie Mae Bray in 2002; sister, Marie Price in 2019 and Marlene Thornton; daughter, Dianne Lou Helton in 1963.
Survived by daughters, Glenda C. Mitchell, Elizabeth Ann Johnson and Melissa R. (Mark) Abner; sisters, Linda (Calvin) Wells, Geraldine (Bill) Mangas; brother, Don (Cathy) Helton; four grandchildren, Derrick Johnson, Damon Willard, Dominic Issacs and Silas Abner; one great granddaughter; two special friends, Cristal Cook and Fred Burkart; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 7, 2022 at Barnes Funeral Home, 109 West Main Street, New Paris, Ohio. Family will receive friends from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M. prior to the service on Friday. Condolences via www.barnesfuneralhome.com
