Estella Darrah, 78, of Richmond died June 18, 2021, at Golden Living Center Golden Rule. She was born December 27, 1942, in Richmond to Cecil A. and Ruth E. Crouch Penland and lived here all her life.

Estella was a housekeeper and babysitter. She was a member of Centerville Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include three children Melissa Kay Shaffer of Richmond, Todd (Chrystal) Darrah of Greenfield, and Robert K. Darrah of Richmond, seven grandchildren Norma Hockett, Kenneth Shaffer, Jordan, Austin, and Brandon Darrah, Ryan and Justin Darrah, her great-grandchildren, her two brothers John (Pat) Penland and Cecil (Ramona) Penland, nieces, and nephews. Her husband Robert died in 2005; she is also preceded in death by a great-grandson Logan Hockett, her parents, and her sister Francis Vadakin.

Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral Home with Rev. Trevor Stanley officiating. Her burial will be in Goshen Cemetery.
