Duane T. McClain 77 of Richmond died August 9, 2021, at Reid Health. He was born August 23, 1944, in New Paris, Ohio to William Martin and Genevieve Elnora Ryan McClain and lived in the area all his life. He formerly worked at Belden Corporation and as an OTR driver. He was a veteran of the Army Reserve.
Survivors include his brother David McClain, one niece Rhonda Costello, two nephews Randall M. McClain and Brian McClain, two great-nieces, and two great-nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Lester McClain and one sister Elsie Chestnut.
Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, August 16, 2021, at Stegall-Berheide-Orr Funeral home with Rev. Kenny Wooden officiating. The burial will be in Webster Cemetery.
