Collin Riley Johnson age 19, went with the angels to Heaven on Sunday, December 5, 2021. He departed this world from the comfort of his home surrounded by his loved ones.
He was born April 24, 2002 in Indiana to his loving parents, Michael Johnson and Tiffany York. God had truly given this world a gift by bringing Collin into the world. Collin brought a warmth and light into the lives of everyone who encountered him. There were many challenges and obstacles in his life, and he handled each one with a memorable smile. He would make a new friend wherever he went. Collin had his own movies and his own shows that he liked to watch…if it had Adam Sandler in it, odds are…he had seen it. His demeanor was always bright and happy, and he could be so comical to be around. Collin has left behind a legacy of lessons and cherished memories. So many lives were altered in a good way by Collin. His absence will leave a hole in all of our lives until the day we meet him again.
Collin has left behind his parents, Michael Johnson and Tiffany York; stepmother, April Johnson; two sisters, Ceirstin Johnson and Faith Johnson; two brothers, Caleb York, and Scott Johnson; his aunt, Natalie Johnson and her son Lane, his aunt, Charlotte York; three uncles, Aaron York, Thomas York, Stephen York; grandparents, Nolan Johnson, Dave and Ilona Lambert, Scott and Becky Davis, and Judy Bowling; great-grandparents, Dorothy Johnson and Lottie Fancil. Collin has also left behind a near infinite amount of other loved ones and friends.
Collin was preceded in death by his aunt, Tabitha York, grandfather, Darrell R. York, great-grandfather, Barny Johnson, great-grandfather, Bill Fancil, great- grandfather, Bill Davis, great-grandfather, Cecil Bowling, great-grandmother, Virginia Bowling, great-grandfather, Robert York, and great-grandmother, Wanda York.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 10, 2021 at First Baptist Church FAmily Life Center, 709 So. Memorial Drive, New Castle, IN., with Reverend Thomas York officiating. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Losantville, In. Friends may call at 12:00 p m., until service time Friday at the church.
