Cleta Mae Baker, 89, of New Castle passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Muncie. She was born December 25, 1931 in Hazard, Kentucky, a daughter of the late Roy H. and Eva (Howard) Robertson.
She was a member of the Sanctuary of New Castle, and former 42 year member of the Eastern Star, Moose Lodge, and Eagles Lodge. Cleta enjoyed traveling, and thoroughly enjoyed riding motorcycles on trips. But most of all, she loved and cared for her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
Cleta is survived by her sons, Gary L. (Beth) Stamper of New Castle, and Spencer (Sharon) Baker of Yorktown; grandchildren, Misty Stamper of New Castle, Holly (Chad) Campbell of Muncie, Gary E. Stamper of Muncie and Zach Stamper of Muncie; great-grandchildren, Cody Campbell (Jessica Delong), Payton Campbell, Mason Campbell, Zareah Cannon; brother, Fred (Marie) Robertson of London Kentucky; sister, Barbara (Dan) Deaton of Muncie; aunts, Wanda Cochran of Gainsville Florida, and Opsie Banks of Middletown Ohio; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Elzie Baker; and brother, Hershel R. Robertson.
Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday February 17, 2021 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Jeff Jaco officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery, West Lawn Addition.
