Charles Michael Monaghan, 80, died Monday, June 14, 2021, at Henry Community Health.
Mike was born in Dayton, OH on January 21, 1941 to Charles E. and Elsie Ardell (Seekamp) Monaghan, and was a life long resident of the Hagerstown area. He attended West River Friends Meeting. He was a graduate of Hagerstown High School and a retired employee of Perfect Circle / Dana Corp. He served with the US Army and was a member of American Legion Post 333. His passions were loving his grandchildren, fishing at Long Lake, MI and NASCAR racing.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Augusta Monaghan; a daughter, Kim Monin (Jim); 2 granddaughters, Sarah and Amy; A brother, Patrick Monaghan; a sister in law, Bonnie Monaghan, and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Julia, a son, Thomas and a brother, Richard Monaghan.
Private visitation will be at the convenience of the family. Public graveside services will be at 11 AM on Friday, June 18, at Chicago Corner Cemetery, with military graveside rites.
