Carole Jean (Johnson) Conningham, 77, of Dublin, Indiana passed away on Saturday morning November 6, 2021 at Reid Health in Richmond, Indiana while surrounded by her family.  A daughter of the late Elizabeth (Johnson) and James Case, Carole was born on July 23, 1944 in Connersville, Indiana.  Carole lived most of her life in Milton and ran the Milton Store where she never met a stranger.  A homemaker, Carole loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.  In her leisure, she enjoyed watching sports and socializing with friends.

Carole is survived by her daughters, Noel Jean (Dwight) Brockman of Richmond, Lori (Chris) Neff of Dublin and Carole (James Eliason) Sherwood of Centerville; her twin brother, Merrill Johnson of Cambridge City; grandchildren, Alexander (fiance’, Ciara) Sherwood, Kristin Neff, Karlie (Garon) Street, Kyle and Kerrigan Neff; great grandchildren, Gavin, Lilly and Lucas; half-sisters, Juanita, Georgie, Barbara and Kanda; nieces and nephews.  Carole was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Conningham on February 26, 2011.  They were married in Indianapolis on September 10, 1962; and their son, Bobby Conningham on November 6, 2020.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 1 p.m. on Thursday November 11, 2021 at Marshall & Erlewein Funeral Home, Dublin.  Pastor Scott Moistner will officiate.  Burial will follow at West Side Cemetery in Milton.
