Born July 15, 1939, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Finley and Verna Relaford Gray, Carol lived in Richmond since 1963. She was an interior designer, having worked at Roberds and Bullerdick Furniture before retiring. Carol enjoyed the Petal and Stem Garden Club. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church and involved in Bible Study Fellowship. Carol loved the Lord and her family dearly.
Survivors include her husband of one day short of 58 years, Lawrence K. Moore; children, Tim (Thea) Tye of Noblesville, Indiana, Lisa (Joseph) Reke III of Eaton, Ohio, and Russell Moore of Cicero, Indiana; grandchildren, Nick (Andrea) Tye, Sheena (Derek) Strainer, Jenna (Matthew) Laver, and Aaron (Misty Herring) Reke; great-grandchildren, Faith, Khloe, Elijah, Lilyana, Gracie, and Isabelle; nieces; nephews; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation for Carol J. Moore will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2021, at Central United Methodist Church, 1425 East Main Street, Richmond. Funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. Friday, April 2, 2021, at the church with Pastor Joseph Seger officiating. Please plan to wear your own mask in the church. Arrangements are being handled by Doan and Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond.
