On Sunday September 27th, Viola B. Stinson, 95 of New Castle made it thru heavens pearly gates to join her loving family who was waiting for her with open arms and to worship her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ.
Viola’s love for Jesus was always her testimony and she’s excited for the rest of her family to join her in heaven. Let her light be an example for the rest of us to live our lives.
Viola’s passion was her family, cooking and working in her flower gardens. She was always known for feeding her guest and her beautiful flowers that bloomed vibrantly every year. She was an amazing woman loved by many.
She was born March 22, 1925 in Monticello, Kentucky the daughter of the late Steven and Pearl Denny Willis. She moved to New Castle, IN as a young adult and where she married the love of her life Everett Wendell Stinson. She was a member of the Northside Church of God. Viola worked many years at Modernfold where she would retire.
Left to cherish her memories are her son Steve Stinson, granddaughter Stephanie (James) Tedder, great grandson Dylan (Hannah) Brown and brother William (Lugene) Willis, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Everett Wendell Stinson, brother Paul Willis, sisters Mary Neal, Josephine Dalton and Louise Guffey and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday at 3pm at Macer-Hall Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home. Pastor Phil Brown will be officiating. Burial will follow in Hicksite cemetery.
