Vicki K. Wehrley, age 63, of Centerville, Indiana, died Thursday, September 3, 2020, at her home surrounded by her family.
Vicki was born on June 17, 1957, in Richmond, Indiana, and was a life-long resident of Wayne County, Indiana. She was lovingly raised by her mother and adoptive father, Mildred and Kenneth Mantooth. Vicki loved to swim and served as a swim instructor and lifeguard at the Golay Community Center in Cambridge City, Indiana. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, growing flowers, and spending time with her grandsons.
Survivors include her mother, Mildred Mantooth of Richmond; sons, Brian (Courtney) Wehrley of Greenfield, Indiana, and Keith Wehrley of Centerville; grandsons, Branden (Hailey) Wehrley and Hunter and Colton Wehrley; sister, Brenda (Barry) Beyer of Richmond; brother, Kyle (Missy) Mantooth of Centerville; aunt, Frona Ellington of Richmond; nieces; nephews; cousins; and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband of almost 40 years, Don A. Wehrley, who died June 16, 2019, and father, Kenneth Mantooth.
Visitation for Vicki K. Wehrley will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2020, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home, 790 National Road West, Richmond. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2020, at Doan & Mills Funeral Home with Shepherd Denver Conway officiating. Please plan to wear your own mask when entering the funeral home. Burial will be in Bryan Cemetery in Centerville.
