Steven Douglas Fowler, 49, of New Castle passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at his residence following an extended illness. He was born February 1, 1971 in New Castle, Indiana, a son of the late Roger and Micki (Alexander) Fowler.
Doug enjoyed playing guitar, shooting guns, golfing, fishing, listening to music, but most of all spending time with his family.
Survivors include a daughter, Angel Fowler and granddaughter, Ava Davis, both of Middletown; two sisters Tawnya Evans of New Castle and Nikki (Michael) Turnage of Las Vegas, Nevada; nieces & nephews, Toby (Jessica) Emmons, Steven Tyler Evans, Taylor Evans and Cash Turnage; several great nieces & nephews; cousins, Angie (Darryck) Dorman, Christopher McCormick, Renee Alexander and Crystal Carroll; aunts & uncles, Susan (Al) Figueroa, Steve (Linda) Fowler, Diane Alexander and Bruce Alexander; step father, Roy Pierce of New Castle; many extended family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roger Fowler, Micki Pierce, and an uncle, Milton Thomas Alexander Jr.
Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle with Pastor Paul Davis officiating. Burial will follow in South Mound Cemetery – West Lawn Addition. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2020 at the funeral home.
