Steven Allen Goodwin, age 64, of New Castle, IN, passed away Saturday May 9. 2020, after an extended illness at Community Hospital Anderson.
He was born May 10 1956, in New Castle, IN to the late Otha Dean and Mereal Agnes (Latham) Goodwin.
He was previously employed at New Castle Box Factory and Best Way Rentals. Mr. Goodwin enjoyed spending time fishing and being outdoors.
Survivors include his sons Shaun Goodwin New Castle and Stephen Joey Goodwin of Indianapolis, IN; 2 grandchildren Merissa and Ashton Goodwin; siblings Suzie Goodwin of Anderson; Betty Kemmer of Daleville; William “Pete” Clark, Elizabeth Wilson, Phyllis Moore, and Linda Jones, all of New Castle; Michael Wayne Goodwin of New Castle; and also several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by 3 sisters; Dixie Goodwin, Mildred Clayborn and Elsie Madden; and 7 brothers; James Goodwin, Larry Dale Goodwin, Otha “Butch”Goodwin Jr., William Goodwin, Robert “RC” Goodwin, Herbert “Hoover” Goodwin and Vernon Goodwin.
Funeral service will 1pm Wednesday, May 13th, 2020 at Macer-Hall Marcum & Moffitt Funeral Home, Main Street Chapel. Friends may call from 12pm-1pm prior to the service.
