Ronald “Ronnie” Raymond Turner passed away on November 25, 2020 at Reid Hospital from complications of Covid-19.

Ronnie was born July 2, 1939 to Don and Velma Turner and was a lifetime resident of Centerville and Richmond, Indiana. He attended and graduated from Richmond High School in 1957. He would tell his grandchildren stories of his childhood, how much popcorn used to cost at the movies, how much snow he had to walk through, the fast cars he owned and he would often talk about his school days, he would jokingly say, “I’d go in the front door and right out the back.” He married Judith Kay Parker in 1958, and they had three beautiful daughters. Ronnie worked at Eaton Gear, he was previously the Center Township Assessor, and he was part owner of J & R Masonry. Ronnie loved to hunt, camp, and fish, especially in Canada. Ronnie also loved to visit with his daughters and grandchildren, he was always there if they needed him! He lived life on his terms and worked hard to makes sure his daughters had everything they needed. He taught his grandchildren real life lessons: how to bait a hook, how to cast a fishing line, how to gut and clean fish, how to kill and prep a chicken, and how to start and keep a fire going. He was an awesome brick mason and would be sure to tell and show you the work he completed, he was proud of his craft.

He leaves to cherish his memory, three daughters: Lisa (Blake) Warfield,

Kathy (Tony) Phillips, and Lorene Sorenson. Grandchildren: Erin (Kevin) Handley, Brian (Scheleta) Phillips, Brooke Phillips, Brandi Phillips, Breanna Phillips, Anthony Brent Phillips, Parker (Melinda) Turner, Caitlyn Scudiero, Nolan Scudiero and Jesse Warfield. Thirty Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great Grandchildren, all of Richmond, Indiana. His sister, Sheila Whited; Two Nieces, Kelly (Tod) Whited, Stacy (Michael) Pratt; One Nephew, Mark (Michelle) Whited.

Preceded in death by: His parents; Ex-wife: Judith Kay Tuner, and one grandson: Parker Seth Turner.
