Ronald Clay Wesley, 76, of Lewisville, Indiana, passed away Sunday evening May 3, 2020 at Glen Oaks Health Campus in New Castle, Indiana. A son of the late Clarence O. and Flonnie (Jasper) Wesley, Ronnie was born in New Castle, Indiana on January 21, 1944. Ronnie was a lifelong Lewisville resident and graduated from Lewisville High School with the class of 1962. He was employed at Chrysler Corporation in New Castle as a machine operator and retired in 1997 after 33 years of service. Ronnie was a dedicated family man, devoted husband and father. His memberships include the Lewisville Presbyterian Church and Lions Club. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds fan and coached his son’s Little League team. Ronnie enjoyed wood working in his leisure time.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 55 years, the former Janet Pickering. They were married on September 24, 1965 at the Lewisville Presbyterian church by Rev. Marion Hickman. 2 children, Sheryl (William) Brock and Jeffery (Robin) Wesley; 4 grandchildren, Kathryn (Nathaniel) Brock-Robertson, Alexandra and Nicholas Brock and Bradford Allen (Andrea) Barclay; 3 siblings, Rex (Izzy) Wesley, Betty Youst and Peggy Proffitt; nieces and nephews. Ronne was preceded in death by stillborn infant, Richard Allen Wesley.

In keeping with Ronnie’s wishes, his family is planning a private gathering later this summer in his memory.
